Description:

We had a Renaissance Science in Harry Potter exhibit at work last month and I loved the Renaissance bestiary elements! In case you are wondering what is a bestiary, check out this Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bestiary

International.

For this swap we will make and trade a bestiary or Bestiarum vocabulum. It can be in modern, Middle Ages, Renaissance, or Victorian style. You can draw your creatures or if you are like me and cannot draw so well, can use photography or composite art. Include at least a short description of each creature.

In keeping with the historic bestiary theme, your work should contain some fantastical elements. It can be all fantasy animals or a mixture of actual and cryptology and fantasy animals, or all established animals but with some naive interpretations as if you do not know this animal so well but are still describing it. If you portray crypto or fantasy animals, you can use beasts that you create or interpret traditional "monsters." It is fine to use legendary animals and creatures from any culture.

Humor and exaggeration are encouraged.

You may have noticed that the medieval bestiaries often contained elements relating to faith and it is okay to carry through this theme in your work if you are sure it is something your partner would appreciate.

Please include at least fifteen creatures in your bestiary. Include a variety of species.

Use some kind of book or booklet to contain the work.

Please nothing pornographic. Furry art is okay but for this swap, please make all furry art "clean fur."

As this will be a high quality creative work that will require some time, I will have to remove anyone with unexplained 1s or 3s in the past year or a general pattern of not sending, sloppy swaps, dubious swapping character, or late sending at any time.

Requires at least four completed non-e-mail swaps.

Please do not sign up if you cannot send or cannot send on time.

By signing up you agree to rate your partner well if he or she does a good job on the project and sends on time. Do not give a poor rating if your partner does a good job but it is in a style you do not like. For example, you prefer Medieval and your partner sends a Victorian style work. Or for example, you wanted realism and your partner sends steampunk.

Thanks! Hope everyone who participates has a great time!

Such a fabulous idea! Not my strength as far as crafting goes, but it sounds like there will be some amazing books that come out of this.

Trading and cryptocurrencies have increased in popularity in recent years. And I determined to see whether I could profit from it, and if so, how much. Thanks to https://safetrading.today/traders/pumpkings-community/ , I was able to make a considerable sum of money quickly. I rapidly grasped the essence of things and began trading right away. This is an excellent website that I feel you will like.
