Oh gather ye 'round and let me tell you a tale of times gone by and the people who dwelt, living happily and heartily and sometimes mischievously, but nonetheless they are our subjects most readily! So, ladies and gentlemen, our subjects or theme for this series is The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer. Now some people may think these tales may be boring, but not so! Some are quite hilarious and read like a medieval soap opera and at the time they were considered very scandalous indeed! The requirements are these... Since I am not requiring folks to read these stories you may get your inspiration from the title's name as well, like in this one as long as it has something that relates to the tale the Franklin is telling you should be good. You can even use quotes from the tales on your ATC, or whatever inspires you! This tale is my personal favorite so far. It tells of true love, a knight and a lady, a desperate situation and noble generosity. It is rather lengthy so if you would like a brief overview to know the general story of it please click here. There are many entertaining stories collected within the tales and I am selecting 8 of the tales that are popular (I know that technically there are many more tales from the other fragments). So, we will be doing 8 total in this first series. I will be trying to host an ATC every other month or two for this series. This is the 6th ATC of this series. If there is a call for more after the 8th swap I will then continue with the lesser known tales. You will make 1 ATC for each of your two partners for a total of 2 ATC's. You may hand draw, use collage, paint, stamp, markers, fabric, embellishments, whatever you can think of to express your creativity for these tales. Please no unexplained 1's for this swap, rating of 4.9 or higher please. If you are going to be late with a swap please pm your partner! If you have a question or comment please pm me or leave it below. I will angel if need be for this swap should anyone flake. Happy swapping to you! Let the storytelling commence!!!
