ATC series (#1) The Firebird

For this swap I thought I would start off what will be a series of ATC swaps, each based on a specific classic fairytale. To start I have chosen The Firebird, a magical glowing bird from a faraway land, which is both a blessing and a bringer of doom to its captor

There are many different descriptions of the creature and varying visual portrayals but the basics of the story, the background and descriptions can be found HERE

A large bird with majestic plumage that glows brightly emitting red, orange, and yellow light, like a bonfire that is just past the turbulent flame. The feathers do not cease glowing if removed, and one feather can light a large room if not concealed...

• You will make one ATC for one partner, using any materials, medium and techniques you desire. These can include painting, pen and ink, collage, and in any style of your choosing.

• The design of your ATC is entirely up to you, as is choice of embellishments and extras, as always, be imaginative!

• You must include the name of the ATC theme, The Fire Bird, somewhere on the front and included in your design and the ususal info on the reverse.

• As always, make certain to package your ATC well and with sturdy support for it's postal journey!
