Hello everyone! This is my first swap, so please no biting. You can bite me next time, but for this one I'd like to just focus on one thing at a time. :) In this swap, you are to create a diorama (a small scene) inside a matchbox. It will be a 250 count matchbox, the big one. The scene will be sender's choice, and it is very open. Any sort of dark place or scene you would like. A few examples are a padded cell in a nuthouse, inside a vampire's coffin, or a crime scene. These are just a few things I can think of, so I trust you to come up with something spectacular! You can make your scene out of anything you would like – polymer clay, pre-made miniatures, paper etc, or a combination of everything. Here are a few pictures of dioramas to inspire you – I know they're not dark, but they will give you an idea of what I mean. Please also decorate the outside of the matchbox. It doesn't have to match the inside, but please also make it dark. This swap is open to all in the group, beginners included as I am a beginner in this too! I just want you to make something amazing for your partner, something you are proud to send out. Please also add a small note explaining what your scene is and why you chose it. I am putting my faith in all of you in the group, but I will check profiles just to make sure everything looks good. Package your matchbox carefully for travel – perhaps make a small box to go around it so it makes it to your partner safely. So to recap – please make a dark-themed matchbox diorama for your partner, in a 250 count matchbox, outside decorated as well. Here is a link to a template for a big matchbox if you would like to make your own. Please let me know if you have any questions, and have fun! |
