Description:

I loooove wall calendars and hang at least 5 all over my house. So this swap is for all the calendar lovers out there!

For some years I have hosted a similar swap on the postcrossing forum. But this is the first swap I host here on swap-bot, so please be patient with me and feel free to contact me if anything is unclear.

For this swap you will be assigned 1 partner that you send a new, store -bought (NOT handmade) wall calendar for 2011.

The calendar should be at least A4 in size un-opened (in Europe: ca. 21cmx30cm or USA: ca. 8 inches x12 inches).

There can be one sheet per month but it could also be a weekly calendar. Images in the calendar should be about the sender's country/region, about nature or sights, but you can also check your partner's profile for another choice. This swap is sender's choice; however, please look at your partner's profile to make sure you don't get something they absolutely hate. The idea is to make your partner happy all through the year 2011.

There is NO price limit on the calendar, but as this swap is also international be aware that shipping costs might also be higher than ususal.

Sorry, no newbies, since this swap involves some money and I have been flaked on the postcrossing forum swap before. All others must have a rating of 4.85, with no 1 or 3 ratings within the last 6 months, without a good explanation.

I set the sending date to December 5, 2010, so you have 4 weeks between sign-up deadline and sending. And I hope another 3 weeks are enough so that everyone has their calendar on January 1, 2011 for the new year. Of course, the sooner you send the better, since around X-mas mail usually takes longer. Calendars are already in stores now, so you might already have a look.

Because someone asked me: I am not talking about poster wall calendars, but standard calendars to open a new page each month. Does this make sense?

I think this is a wonderful Idea. I am signed up to max at minute, But as soon as I get a space I will be joining this swap.
