Description:

I have TONS of paper scraps left over from projects that I can’t seem to throw away. Sometimes I put them into drawers by color; sometimes I put them all together. I seem to be forever organizing them. LOL! I’m thinking that I’m not the only one who saves scraps; am I right??

Recently, I was searching the web for ideas on what to do with paper scraps and I stumbled on this wonderful blog: http://mygridcards.blogspot.com/ Jacqueline’s artwork is very inspiring as I’m sure you will all agree.

So far, I have made a few cards with one-inch punched squares of purple scraps and also with green & blue scraps. I also made a card using one-inch punched circles. The ideas are endless because you can do random colors, or go for seasonal colors, use different shaped punches, etc. Have fun experimenting. Warning: this may become addicting! LOL!

This is a FUN, EASY way to use our scraps!

In this swap, you will have 2 partners and you will send them 1 card each that you made using paper scraps. This swap is sender’s choice for card colors, so you can begin making your cards now. It’s your choice whether you want to make the card for them to enjoy or for them to give away. Either way, please include a short (or long) note telling them about your day, your scrap experiments, etc. Don’t forget to include the swap name and your name. If you want, include a few of your pretty scraps for your partner to play with.

Is it part of the requirements that we make the cards using the inchie shapes? or can we use our scraps any way we like?

@kiwivandal thanks for adding the link. How do you do that?

No, you don't have to use inchie shapes; you can use your scrap any way that you like.

The swap description does say, "The ideas are endless because you can do random colors, or go for seasonal colors, use different shaped punches, etc."

Feel free to experiment and use your scraps any way that you want (smile).
