This is a fun and easy swap - so join already!

Think of your favorite movie or just one you really like. Now plan a menu that would fit the theme of that movie. The menu should have an appetizer, main dish and dessert. Send your two partners an e-mail which tells them:

  • Name of movie
  • Menu
  • Three recipes
  • A note on how your menu ties in with your movie

Cinch? Yep. Fun? You betcha!

How about a quick little example to get those gears turning?

Movie: Walking Tall starring The Rock (yums!)
Menu: Salmon dip, hickory smoked chicken with salad, Momofuku's Crack Pie (um, you may want to try this recipe btw - it is soooo good)

So my reasonings for this menu are that the movie takes place in the Pacific Northwest of the US so salmon naturally. His father worked in a saw mill so hickory smoked chicken should fit the bill and finally, well, they sold crack out of a casino so CRACK PIE.

Your e-mail will hopefully be a little more fluffed up and of course will include recipes. I hope you join! And please let me know if you have any questions.

Quick question: Can one of the menu items/recipes be for a drink...like a cocktail or somesuch?

Thanks! And great swap, by the way. I'm soooo excited!

@colormetoni sure why not. I'm always up for a cocktail!

I love planning a meal around a movie and I always like getting new recipes. I hope you have fun with this swap! :)
