This is a freebie map, ones that you can pick up, on the highways, or at truck stops….of the state you live in or easily accessible to. Frequently and most often you can find them among all the brouchures, in the pocket holders, for visitors in the rest areas. I am making it International...as it may be fun for anyone who wants maps of the areas here, and also interesting for us to see their areas as well. With this swap let's send a map to each other as a group, depending on the amount of people who sign up. If of course, it is a higher number, then I will choose a much smaller number to accommodate…the cost of the postage for sending. We should not have to spend any money, except for the postage. One map per each person signing up. I will set the swap partners to a higher number…. And depending on how many sign up for this one… I will lower the number. Lets comment as to which state we will be sending in case there is a duplicate in some cases you may be able to send a different state. (I live near the border of Maine and NH and also Vermont is easy for me to get to, as well as Massachusetts. I hope that it will be as easy for you to acquire, for your state or surrounding states.... and also maybe you have one tucked away that you can also send. But, if there ends up being a duplicate this would be OK.... Sometimes, we can give them to friends who need them or family, which ever you prefer. It does not have to be the state you live in, but should be a visitors map. (Hint: Cracker Barrell, Restaurants, usually have a high number of these visitor pockets). Also.... if you want to, use a marker, and highlight the area in which you live in on these maps. I think it would be fun to see how the area looks surrounding you. Newbies are welcomed, as long as you are serious about the swap. It is very disappointing to not receive on a swap so please only sign up for this swap if you are able to send, and curious about where these maps may take you. If your ratings are questionable, email or I will question. :) have fun. Please no flakers. |
