It's the holiday season, and I love to celebrate! Let's exchange small, handmade stocking stuffers on a storybook theme. This is a swap for people who are interested in receiving a real, true surprise from their partner, as the theme for this one is sender's choice and the instructions are very general. Make a small gift (under 5 inches) inspired by one of your favorite storybooks. This could be a doll version of a book character, a piece of jewelry featuring a scene from a book, a hand-carved stamp, a tree ornament, etc. Wrap the gift and include a note identifying the storybook that inspired the gift and what you like about that story. Some participants might want to wait until Christmas to open the gift. In that case, send your partner a message stating that you received the gift and will rate after the holidays. If you are the impatient type, however, feel free to rip into your gift early! Just remember when rating that this is a general, sender's choice swap intended to share our love of children's books. This swap is international. |
