Description:

I like to get stuff in the mail everyday BESIDES the local grocery store ads! So, I guess i need to send something out to get something in. Every Sunday I will post the Ultimate year of Happy Mail swaps for that week. There will be one for each day that the mail carrier picks up mail. Some will be themed, some will be random, but ALL of them will be able to be mailed with ONE stamp in a 4x6 or business sized envelope. If you joined them all you would be sending and receiving 303 envelopes. You do not have to join them all, but it is nice to get mail everyday. To recap you will have:
*ONE partner
*send one envelope with that days requirements
*on the back of the envelope you will write Ultimate Year of Happy Mail #? (?=what number swap it is)

*Swap #13 A Random envelope of paper goods/flat items. Please include 4 or 5 items that can be sent using one stamp. Ideas include:
postcards
ATCs made or blank backs
scrapbook paper
12'' piece of ribbon
stickers (2 flakes= 1 item)
ephemera
Please send items in good condition. No trash or candy wrappers. Sender's choice.

I am setting up the first ones very early, so feel free to watch until the time gets closer, but make sure to check in 2011 for that week's new swaps.

What is ephemera? By the way, I love your swaps....this is my third one! Great ideas! jade517

Here is my idea of Ephemera. It is stuff most people threw away and is now rare to find: things like old letters, announcements, pamphlets (printed in small numbers), vintage postcards, and pictures. It can be pages from old magazines, catalogs and dictionaries. Vintage Valentines are in demand right now -- the kind we traded in school. It includes all one-of-a-kind and hard-to-find pieces of paper. For more info go to the free online encyclopedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephemera

An envelope has been dropped in the mailbox headed to my partner. Enjoy!
