Can I use a plastic transparent shaker cup? It's something like what u used for your cocktail or powder drinks...

A shaker cup would work, it may be a bit hard to decorate though. The decorations may have to be removable. Your partner would have to be ok with receiving a shaker cup.

I am still getting everything together. The jar I found that was pretty is too big. I can't wait!

please, if you can, find out how much your jar is going to cost to post internationally. It may seem small enough, but will probably weigh more, especially if it is a glass jar. If postage overseas is going to be too expensive please drop out of the swap before sign up closes.

There will be 'Europe only' and 'US only' swaps in the future. :o)

I have to drop this swap because the postage is just too high for me right now. :-( Please do the US only one very soon!!

ozrob 10/ 8/2007 #

the US only and Europe only swaps will be hosted by other members, not me, because I'm neither in the US or Europe! :o)

TexyDeb 10/10/2007 #

Postage from here is even more than from the US but it is so worth it to get something similar in return!

Partners have been assigned!!

TexyDeb 10/11/2007 #

I just read my partners profile. I am going to take a few things out that I put in to replace them with a few more things they might enjoy more. I will be sending it out on Monday! This is so fun!

There was a mix up here so my jar got sent today instead of ten days ago. I am anxiously awaiting my jar. I hope everyone gets something they like!

I sent mine and got mine today! It was a great package. It brought tears of laughter for my kids and me...the paper that was holding it inside ripped when I pulled it and all the goodies flew everywhere...the kids and I had a great time picking them all up, some candies were lost but oh well! I don't think my local bead shop had that big of a seclection of beads. There was also an instant coffee inside with some jolly rancher candies. There were also some pre beaded necklaces. thank you so much to my swap partner

Oh my! I could faint! It cost almost $15.00 to mail my jar to Australia. But that's OK. I knew this was international, I just hope it makes it with no problems!

ozrob 10/31/2007 #

oooh, I hope so too! ;o)
