Description:

For this swap use the holidays as the theme to create a fat journal page. A fat journal is a journal so full of pictures, brochures, snips and snaps, ephemera that it doesn't close properly.

To create the page, snap up some of the trappings of the holidays, wrapping paper, ribbons, confetti... and arrange it into a scrapbook sort of page. Add quotations, or a poem, quotes... to round ou the page.

The page can then be stuffed, glued or otherwise attached into a journal of your own.

The page should be well decorated, with writing and embellishments. It should use an entire composition book size page of 7.5" x 9.75" (19 cm x 24,7 cm). Use only one side of the page. Since the pages are based on a theme, and not a profile, you can begin your page as soon as you sign up.

Group requirements apply to this swap so it's not worth flaking.

This is an international swap. It is not usually appropriate to fold a fat journal page, so take that into account when considering the possibility of international postage.

A rough idea of postage from US to France or Australia calculated using the USPS website: A First-Class Mail® International Package (which is the size envelope to fit a full sheet of paper, rigid, and not completely flat), weighing up to 2 ounces (which equals approximately 10-12 sheets of paper) would cost $2.28 USD

Please don't hesitate to comment or PM if you need more information/direction. Especially since this is a how to swap, we can all benefit from questions

One question I've received is "Does it have to be on an actual composition book page?"

No, it does not. It simply has to be that size page, so that it will fit into that size book, because composition books are commonly used for fat and altered journals.
