Description:

Hello everyone!!!

This is the second swap of our group and I hope it works out fine. For this swap we will make 3 FBs(they must be Nice &neat) for one partner, but to keep with the proposal of our group; culture, countries, etc. each FB must be themed of a different country. That means its cover should be country/culture themed. On top of the 3 FBs, as my last swap, in this one you will also have to add a small surprise for your partner! It can be anything, but try to pay atention to your partner dislikes not to send them something they can´t use or like!

  • 3 N&N FBs for 1 partner
  • Each Fb must be themed of a different country/culture
  • They don´t have to be your country themed, that´s up to you.
  • Be creative and have fun!
  • Add your small surprise! :)

If you have any questions, comments or requests , just PM me or write bellow :)

Sorry, I'm confused... are they FBs, or decos? Maybe I just need more coffee, but how should I make a FB with a theme? Are the people I send to also going to decorate it, or just add their addresses?

MorgenSter 12/28/2010 #

Hi Emika. It´s a regular themed FB. The cover must be themed, but that´s it ;) Just make its cover themed of a country of your choice.

Do you have an example?

MorgenSter 12/28/2010 #

Example of a country themed FB ? it´s like any regular themed FB, you could make its cover with a flag of the country,or...: for netherlands : print images of wooden shoes and decorate just the cover of the FB (friendship book) , or make it with orange ephemera, to represent their loyal colour. for brazil: flag, soccer team, carnival, coffee, for russia: the czar family, the many nice buildings they have, for spain: toreros, for england: beatles, harry potter, rugby, etc etc ! Does it make sense?

When the theme is "bird" I make FB´s where their cover shows a bird, or anything related to birds. if the theme is "fairy", my FBs have on its cover fairies flying, embelishments, etc...

Hi, I am new to friendship books and would love to join in on this swap but first I need to clear some things up. 1) what size must it be? And 2) can I decorate a store bought book or must I make my own? 3) how many pages? 4) must it be blank inside, lined paper or filled with info? I would really appreciate any help and would love to join once I know the requirements.

@nasreen They don´t have a given size, they must be able to get into a regular envelope. I have seen a few as big as a seasonal card and some very small as to a few cm square.

They must be Nice and Neat, which is its cover must be laminated or have some plastic covering it, with embellishments, nice to look at. You can make the cover from any cardstock paper. Cut it and fold it and you have yourself a small book. Inside, you stample some pages, not many (or it will takes ages to go home). Around 2 pages, is just fine. (it all depends on the size of your book).

On the front inside cover, you add your address and the one of the person who it was made for. And everyone that gets it, will add their own label inside :D When its full, it will go to the person who it was made for (so their address must be there :D ) makes any sense?

Im trying to find any nice tutorials at youtube, but so far no luck..
