Description:

Christmas craziness is finally over... and we all have the cards to prove it. For the cut and paste experts who have nothing else to do with their Christmas cards, this is what you are going to do:

Find all of your favorite cards, maybe cut the best parts out of them. Make a collage with them, no smaller than an average-sized Christmas card, or as big as you want!

Oh, but there's more. Here comes the challenge part: The collage can NOT depict anything that suggests that the materials you are using are Christmas related. Just take bits and pieces from each card, and you can't go wrong as long as you put effort into it. Use only cards for your materials, except if you need a backing for the collage.

Have fun, show your style, be creative! Send out something you are proud of, and that you think your swap partner will enjoy (although this is not profile-based).

Please, no ratings below 4.9, and no excessive Ones. At least 5 snail mail swaps completed. This swap is for the United States only.

I hope that everyone who joins has a positive experience! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, complaints, etc., feel free to contact me via this post thread or message.

Is this to be just a collage or should we make a card front out of it? Thanks.

I have the same question. Do we just make a mosaic type collage so it doesn't look like Christmas? And do we make it into a card or just cut and paste on something flat and mail in an envie? Sounds fun.......just don't quite understand it.

You can make the collage into a card if you like, but I'm making mine into a postcard. Feel free to do the same, or stick it in an envie, or any other creative thing you can think of for a flat collage. I used the word "collage" to mean "cut and paste". I was trying to leave it open to you guys, because limitations aren't fun when you're trying to get creative.

The goal is to make an awesome collage out of Christmas cards, with the final result looking like something entirely different, and entirely unrelated to Christmas. Apologies if the description was confusing!

Also, feel free to add a note explaining what you did or why you did it... Don't be afraid to add extra, as long as it meets minimum requirements! Optional, of course. [:
