What is IT? As we start a new year, what one big thing do you want to accomplish? Maybe 2011 is the year you finish a novel, query an agent, attend a writers' conference, make writing goals for the first time, write a short story, finish a short story, join a writers' critique group or circle, host a writing swap, start a novel, do NaNoWriMo, take a class, submit a poem to a journal, enroll in a MFA program, etc., etc. The choice is yours to make. On a postcard sent naked (meaning not in an envelope) and snail mailed to three partners tell them that one big audacious thing you're going to do this year to advance your writing. International. Snail mail. Group membership.
