Description:

Here is Swap #3 in the Food for the Gods swap. You do not have to have swapped in the other Food for the Gods Swaps to take part in the fun. I love food and learning about the different God and Goddess around the world so I thought it would be fun to make a cookbook of recipes related to different Gods and Goddess. For this swap choose one Greek or Roman God or Goddess from any where in the world whose name starts with the letter “C” and find a recipe that uses one of the foods that they are associated with. (This includes herbs and spices) Put the recipe and a few lines about the deity that you have chosen on a piece of paper 81/2x 11. Decorate the sheet in a way that would be pleasing to look at. An example would be a cereal recipe for the Roman Goddess Ceres decorated with fruits, flowers and grains. Be creative and have fun with the art. This can be done on the computer, by hand or both. The recipe does not have to be of your creation but please tell where or who you got the recipe from. Make it a food you would want to try or love already. Have fun, be creative and make your partner smile. I hope you join in the fun. I have gotten some outstanding recipe sheets that were both beautiful and educational and look forward to many more. Don’t forget to rate. It is such a nice way to say thank you to your partner for all their efforts.

Requirements:

  1. Pick a Roman or Greek God or Goddess whose name starts with the letter “C” and find a food that is associated with them.

  2. Find a recipe that uses that food as one of its ingredients (don’t forget to give credit where credit is due)

  3. Put a few lines about your God or Goddess, the food ingredient that relates to them and the recipe on a sheet of 81/2x 11 paper

  4. Decorate the paper in a way that relates to your deity

  5. Put the name of the swap and your swap name on the back of your swap or on a separate note so your partner knows who to rate.

Ways to step up a notch but not a requirement:

1.Use a recipe that is Greek or Roman depending on the God or Goddess you have chosen

  1. Find a recipe that can be used or was used in a magical manner or Holiday
