Winnie the Pooh Day is January 18! For this swap, you are invited to celebrate Edward Bear by sending your partner a simple candy gram.
Your candy gram should be in a shallow, sturdy box. Use these photos as a template for how your candy gram should appear. The exact dimensions of the box are up to you, but it should be a minimum height and width of approximately 3 x 5 inches.
The bottom of the box should be neatly lined with an illustration from the A.A. Milne books (E.H. Shepard only, please, no Disney) OR with a Pooh illustration or collage created by you. The image does not specifically have to feature a written salutation unless you choose to include it.
The box should be filled with a single layer of candy of your choice. Please be sure to choose sturdy candy such as gumballs which won't melt or break apart in the box, and to completely fill the bottom so the candy doesn't roll or move. You may also use small individually wrapped candy if you wish, as long as it's something fun and in keeping in the spirit of the swap. This will be sender's choice in candy, but for the purposes of this swap it's best to keep this to somewhat basic flavors that won't be on most "dislike" lists. (This means no banana candy de-stash, etc, please. And if you happen to dislike a generic flavor...this may not be the best swap for you to join.)
Please be sure to secure your box with tape so the contents won't spill, and to put this box in another box or envelope for shipping. Reinforce your outer shipping envelope if necessary.
And as always, please include a short note to your partner.
Since this box can definitely be re-used or re-purposed, feel free to be creative by also decorating the cover, wrapping the box like a present, etc., etc.
There is a quick sign up and turnaround on this swap since the date is fast approaching! This should be relatively easy/inexpensive craft to do, however, and you'll have a sweet little something for a sweet holiday. Happy Pooh Day!
