Description: | |
This is the first in a series of alphabet zentangles - with a twist. You will be picking zentangle patterns that start with specific alphabet letters. For example, in this first swap the requirements are that you use (at least) one pattern that starts with an "A" and (at least) one pattern that starts with a "B". The rest of the patterns used in your zentangle are up to you. I don't want to limit creativity -- I want to present a format that might encourage you to try new patterns. There are numerous zentangle websites and most list patterns alphabetically. Zentangle basics are described in detail at Zentangle.com and a nice alphabetical list of patterns is found at TanglePatterns.com Your zentangle can be black and white or colored. The size can be a standard ATC (2.5" x 3.5") OR a standard zentangle square (3.5" x 3.5") When you sign up for the swap please state which size zentangle you prefer to receive from your partner I will be doing this swap monthly, if there is enough interest, and we will be basically doing two letters a month (with a couple groups of three letters if there are few patterns starting with those letter). Please include a note with your zentangle telling what patterns you picked for the letters. You might say "I used AfterGlo in the center" or "I filled in the background with Black-eyed Peas". If it isn't easy to describe please do a simple sketch of the pattern in your note. I'm hoping we all learn a new pattern or two in this swap. Requirements: 1 Zentangle for 1 partner ATC sized OR 3.5 x 3.5" square Must include one "A" pattern and one "B" pattern (and a note identifying the required patterns used) Please use appropriately sturdy paper. Rating of 4.9+, no 1s or 3s in the last six months (and then with explanation) Flaking will not be tolerated. If you have any questions or concerns please email me. |
