Description:
It's hearts and flowers month! But few men know how to woo a woman like another woman does, so for this swap you're invited to create a lovely poetry booklet for your partner. Your booklet should: include at least 4 poems that are romantic or beautiful in nature be folded in half and include at least 4 pages (that would be one 8.5 x 11 sheet folded in half, front and back) include a variety of illustrations. The poems and illustrations are sender's choice and may be your own work OR classic poetry and artwork that you'd like to share. The booklet may be hand-lettered, printed, etc, whatever you like, just so long as it is neatly presented in a pleasing way. Here and here are examples of a booklet I made for a previous swap. You will have 12 days to complete the swap. Since this is sender's choice, you may certainly make this and have it ready to go before partners are assigned as well. You will send out two copies of your finished work and receive two romantic booklets in return. Woo your partners, dandies!

I have to drop this one for now... but I really want to do it later, if you decide to try it again!!! Maybe end of March, early April. Could be Spring/summer type poems, maybe? I am running out of swap time just temporarily, and it is stressing me out!! :)

I've signed up for this one, too. the happyhoneybee, if you'd rather hold off and see if more people sign up another time, that's fine. I'm willing to play, though, if you don't mind it being just me (unless Her Royal Holly decides to keep it!) ;)

Either way is fine with me. It does sound like a lovely idea and I love poetry.
