Description: | |
The month of February is celebrated as black history month in the United States, also noted as African American history month. For this swap, you will send 1 store-bought postcard to your swap partners. The theme is notable African Americans. Your postcards should be either 1) a work of art or photograph created by a notable African American; or 2) a work of art or photograph that features a notable African American who has shaped American history, science, music, art, medicine, education, film, literature, or other aspects of American culture. Your postcards will be stamped and sent naked (which means NOT in an envelope.) Please include a small note to make the postcard exchange a little more personable. If it is not clear what influence your featured individual may have had on American history, please include this in a note on your postcard. Maybe you want to write a quote by a notable African American. No one wants to just receive something with your swap ID on it and nothing else. New swappers are welcomed with a well-filled out profile. Other swappers with recent bad ratings will be banned from the swap. I will review absolutely all profiles, and I have the right to exclude anyone that I feel will be unable to fulfill this swap's requirements. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. And, thanks for joining and celebrating women! |
