So...I was totally inspired by this post in the PF's... and other similar projects on flickr Link 2 And declared in my best spoilt brat voice that "I want one" wah wah stomp stomp :p So this is going to be an ongoing swap of 6 inchies at a time - so nice and cheap on postage ;) A different them each round and it will keep going until we have enough for our own creepy, dark and twisted inchie mosaic to hang on our walls or whatever you choose to do with them :) So for this first round....
Beginners to inchies are welcome, seen as I am one myself. Just put some effort in and don't send out crapola or your first ever efforts, unless they're the shizzle. Think: "would I want these gracing my wall" if the answer is "no" then try again :p In case you don't know what inchies are... It’s a 1 x 1 inch piece of artwork. As long as it’s an inch squared, you can use any media you like to make it, paper, fabric, wood, metal…the list goes on! A favourite seems to be the collaged inchie, with a combination of words and images making up the artwork. Heavy watercolour paper works perfectly for making inchies, but if you like to recycle you could use a cereal packet or other similar packaging, or even a postcard. Please make them sturdy and glue several pieces of the above together if necessary Also Flickr has a ton of photos So who's onboard for Team Darknes Inchie Project??? ♥ |
