Description:

For this swap you'll get to use your Hand Carved stamps in a fun way!

Objective
Create for your two (2) partners A correspondence Set decorated with your hand carved stamps (hand printed paper goods) sender's choice . Every items should have at least one hand stamped image on them, using your own hand carved stamps only!
The whole set has to have a corresponding theme, make it match together and each separate item has to fit together, theme wise (ie decorating your letter paper with cupcakes and matching envelopes with tea cups is okay, but decorating the letter paper with cupcakes and the matching envelopes with Godzilla... well I fail to see a matching theme there, unless Godzilla was really cranky cause he got no cupcakes?;) But you get what I mean, right? Idea's for themes; high tea, retro, weather, woodland creatures, nerdy, tv series, music, writing, reading, etc. Create your own unique set with your unique stamps! Using commercially made words and letter stamps are okay but keep it to a minimum. please put in an explanatory note to your partner if your set hasn't got an 'obvious recognizable' theme

Your Correspondence set should include at minimum

  • 8 writing papers (minimum size A5 - EU size/ 1/2 letter size USA size see for paper sizes this handy link) with 4 matching (either by theme or same use of stamp) envelopes
  • 1 note card with matching envelope
  • 5 matching mailing labels
  • 5 matching artist stamps

Feel free to include other or more items, but those are the minimum items required. Use good quality paper, no flimsy copy/print paper. Lined, blank, color, that is all up to you. Package your set nicely as well. Maybe in a corresponding folder, bound with ribbon/baker's twine, cellophane wrapping... just make it look nice, like a stationery set you would buy in a store :)

open to all HCS group members in good standing Rating filter is in place, but I will check profiles before sign up. If there are any questions/concerns, feel free to pm me.

Have fun creating your set!!
