HALLOWEEN THEMED!!

This is a U.S. only swap. The only cost of this swap is the single postage stamp to send your envelope. This swap is open to anyone with a rating of a 4.5 (or higher) OR newbies with COMPLETELY filled out profiles. (Anyone not meeting the requirements will be dropped from the swap). You will have 2 partners. Send each of them a minimum of 3 different things that are HALLOWEEN THEMED , just be sure that you use only ONE stamp to send their envelope of goodies. The things you send can be new, handmade, or used (in good condition and use-able). You are not required to cater to your partner's profile. Some examples of what you could send: drawings, stickers, gift tags, bookmarks, ribbons...whatever you can think of that you think would be fun to recieve. There is not a big amount of time for the send by date, as this is supposed to be a fast swap (hooray for instant gratification!). Please be sure to rate your partners after recieving your envelope, as there are likely to be newbies who need to build up their ratings. And when you DO rate your partners, keep in mind that you are not rating their skill level, or taste, or time spent... just that the requirements were met. Of course, if your partner does go the extra mile and send awesome goodies and/or extras...be sure to give them a heart and some nice comments!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! <3 -ashley d

Just a question from my feeble mind. Do you mean one 41 cent stamp? ;)

ashleyarsenic 10/23/2007 #

yes ma'am i do!

Some stuff I have is sorta thick or hard but fits perfectly into an envelop, can I also use the additional 17 cent stamp to make sure it goes through alright? I know the post office can be a little picky about non-machinable envelops that are thicker or don't bend so easily.

I just want to make sure that by adding the 17 cent stamp I'm not going agents the rules of this swap?

you're not really supposed to in this swap... but i don't think your partner would tattle tell! afterall, 17 more cents means more stuff! shhhh if she doesn't tell anyone we won't!

I added the 17 cents on my last swap like this and told everyone it was "insurance" When I had gone to the post office I was .1 once over and the gal said I could try to send it with the one stamp, but I opted to make sure it didn't get returned.

Plus, if you're like me, collecting stamps is a fun hobby and great for crafts. I save every stamp I receive so I know I wouldn't tattle.

ok sooo i went over :( i wasn't about to sit there and take out anything (and i had already sealed the envelope). but luckily i was/am not strict on the one cent rule. we're just talking 17 here!

Just look at it as mailing insurance, and your prerogative as the swap coordinator! ;-)
