Fish Themed Artistic Postcard

I love fish, and I thought there aren't enough fish inspired themed swaps! Wouldn't it would be great to explore the different types of fish and artistically embody our favorite one on a postcard?

This swap is for ONE fish themed postcard made as an illustration or in any printmaking method. Originals only, please. No smaller than standard postcard size, which is about 4 x 6in.

You can use actual sturdy fine art postcard paper (i.e for watercolors, etc.) or make your own out of paper that you may already have and is suitable for a postcard. Please be sure that it is sturdy enough to be put through the mail (in case your partner should choose to want to mail it to someone - back it up if you have to). If you are making your own, please decorate like an actual postcard (message area, postage area, etc.).

Types of fish to choose from:

1. Jawless Fish - lampreys & hagfish

2. Cartilagenous Fish - all types of sharks, stingrays, skates, chimaeras...

3. Bony Fish - everyone else, including: parrot fish, clown fish, eels, sea horses, sunfish, deep sea angler, barreleye fish, and many more...

Do a google search for the many species of fish that inhabit the ocean and freshwater habitats.

This one will be sender's choice, but feel free to use your partner's profile for inspiration if they have listed any types of fish they may like.

• Use any illustration or printmaking medium/technique.
