Description:

Dig up those old game board sets that you no longer use and put them to use as part of an ATC. You can use any part of the game from the playing cards, tokens, game pieces to even part of the board itself. You can create your ATCs however you like using whatever game you choose. Mix and match games or use pieces from the same game. If you don't have an old game board then maybe a friend has one they are willing to part with. I've also found thrift stores as a good source for old game boards at really cheap prices.

3 partners and 2 ATCs for each partner So you will create a total of 6 ATCs for this swap. Be unique, these cards can be of any medium so long as there are pieces of games in your final work.

Newbies please contact me before signing up, Members with a 4.7+ rating are welcome to join. There are not going to be any flakers, right! I can angel if need be but lets hope not.

Is this international? Please and thanks!

Yes, international

There was a question PMed to me so I want to share my answer with everyone.

Card games, such as Magic the Gathering, are also acceptable to use to create ATCs for this swap. Although they do not have an actual board to be played on they are still a piece of a game. Anything that is a piece of any game can be used.

Yahoo! I have like 3000 + Magic the Gathering Cards, especially counting the 1000 + land Mana cards, and not only have I not played in years I can no longer get the newer decks and well have just so lost interest in the game! It's the only game "pieces" that I am willing to "recreate" for this swap, whew thanks!

Any medium as long as a game piece is involved - so the ATCs don't have to fit in a sleeve, right? (they can be thicker as long as its 2.5 x 3.5) Thanks!

I've been working on a game related art piece for someone so I am literally swimming with game boards, pieces, play money :) Thanks for hosting this, Xebby - very timely for me!

Yes they can be thick but must still be the standard ATC size. I really don't have much in the way of restriction for this swap other then "game piece" so just have fun and be creative.

I used some wooden scrabble pieces in one of mine (it's in my flikr) yet could still slide the cards into a sleeve. I'm still working on a few more but so far I haven't had a problem putting things together.

No restrictions - gotta love that :) Mine may or may not fit into the sleeves, but will definitely be 2.5 x 3.5.

Zebby - your scrabble tile ATCs are cute! Also like what you did on the black cat.

I am not so happy with the way mine are turning out. They're alright, just the reality isn't matching up to the vision and that's a real bummer. I may compensate by sending extra cards, can the hostess and y'all give me your opinions? Please?

Caffinna 11/13/2007 #

Okay, I got a spray can of clear shiny sealer and it's doing the trick for my ATC's! As soon as they dry I will mount them on a backing card, label them, and get them out in the mail! I am glad that I didn't trash them!

Caffinna 11/25/2007 #

I got my atc's in the mail today just under deadline. Yes I know that they won't actually leave until tomorrow, so I included two extra atc's for a total of 4 atc's for each of my partners.

I've got a question regarding Elder Scrolls Online. I'm really intrigued by the idea of completing the Maelstrom Veteran Arena. However, I've heard that it can be quite challenging and time-consuming. Do you have any tips on how to make the process faster and more efficient?

BestGarris 08/30/2023 #

Hi there! Conquering the Maelstrom Veteran Arena in Elder Scrolls Online is indeed a notable feat. If you're looking to streamline the completion process, considering the help of experienced professionals might be a wise move. I'd recommend checking out the services offered by armadaboost.
