Description: | |
I love tea swaps, but I feel as though I should make a swap that revolves around refinement! So, let's enjoy a bit of tea and a quick letter from your partner. Your letter doesn't have to be too long - a minimum of a page handwritten should do. Write about yourself, and some of your fancier qualities (this is a fancy swap, after all). Have fun with it! Maybe try explaining your perfect "fancy" day. Is it curling up by a window drinking tea? Is it staying in a beautiful hotel, getting pampered in a spa while drinking tea? Taking tea in a secret garden, surrounded by roses and songbirds? I'm sure you get the picture. Be as creative and descriptive as possible. I know you won't have any trouble breaking the one-page minimum! This swap shall have two partners per person. Your letters do not have to be identical, and as I want to encourage time well-spent on each partner, I am giving a generous amount of time for this swap to be finished. If you have any dislikes or particular preferences, post them below. Now the fine print:
Yes, this is newbie-friendly. It's relatively low-risk and involves minimal postage. Everyone needs to start somewhere! Yes, this is Australian-friendly. Please note that when sending tea to Australia, loose-leaf is not advisable as it will be confiscated for quarantine. "Tea containing seeds, fruit skin (for example citrus and apple peel) and fruit pieces" is not allowed. However, I'm sure there ought not be a problem when sending black or green teas - just make sure they have no visible chunks of anything in them. |
