Description:

So this one will be along the likes of the Adopt A Critter Matchbox. EXCEPT

You can make any type of critter. Be it an animal, an object, etc. As long as it goes along with the theme of your "house" (matchbox).

You'll take a 32ct Matchbox. Turn it into a home for your critter. Could be anything! Things can be built off of the Matchbox. As long as the Matchbox is the main piece. You can add metal, paper, cardboard, clay, etc to your Matchbox. Anything goes!

Your little critter must fit inside the matchbox in some way.

So basically, what you do is up to you! It's free theme, as I'd like to get everyone's creative juices flowing.

Please do not just decorate a Matchbox and put a little thing inside. Make it different. Think outside the box!

Have fun!

Oh this also sounds so fun but I tried to make a match box and it failed the draw wouldnt go all the way in and even though I used card stock it looked too flimsy. Guess I will have to pass until I learn the match box skill better. Have fun girls. PS I am in the tutorial grp so maybe I will learn more there! Nancy

Nancy, you can use an actual matchbox. You don't have to make one. A shop bought matchbox is much sturdier. That's what I use.

Yes go look in your grocery stores and find some if the tutorial doesn't work for you! I get them here at the Dollar Tree or even at Wal-Mart! The 32ct boxes is what you're after!
