Description:

For this swap, you will send your partner 8" x at least 24" of craft or sewing quality ribbon. No floral or gift packaging ribbon. That means each piece will be 24"+ long and the total of all the ribbons laid side-by-side will equal 8". So send wide, send skinny but they have to total 8" wide. Obviously you will have to send a lot of yardage if the ribbon is skinny!

The ribbon colours will be determined by your partner. They will choose 5 colours in the comments section. I recommend light x, dark x, medium x etc. (You can be specific as you like but if you choose sage green for example, your partner can feel free to simply send light green if they don't have sage.) You can send all one colour, some of each or anything in between. You may also send printed or patterned (striped, dotted, gingham, plaid) ribbon as long as the main colour is one of their choices.

If your partner fails to leave a comment with their colour choices after partners are assigned, feel free to send any colours you have. You do not have to chase them down by PM or read their profile. But you can if you wish.

That's it. Please do not send creased or wrinkled ribbon and no matter how you send, be sure the ribbon is protected should the envie rip a bit. I recommend a plastic bag inside the envie unless you are using a sturdy bubble mailer (which isn't required). Second hand ribbon is OK if your partner likes vintage and it is in like new or vintage (faded, slightly yellowing) condition. You can add if vintage is OK in the comments. You can also mention in the comments if lace is OK.

So, 1 partner, 8" total widths combined x 24"+ long pieces of ribbon. Package well. List in comments: 5 colours, lace OK? Vintage OK?

Must have 4.97 to join, no 1's ever or recent 3s without explantion. Well-filled out profile yada yada, reserve right to ban... If you are a newbie (less than 5 type 3 swaps completed and rates) or have explainable 3s, PM 3 days before sign up deadline. Shows you are serious.

Enjoy, Rebecca

Great idea for a swap!!

I'd love: * any vintage * chocolate brown * any polka dot * light pink or baby blue * cupcake print * black & white

I'm NOT expecting all of the above, I just wanted to give plenty of choices for my partner! Just please no country prints, teal or yellow :) Thanks in advance.

My choices are teal, orange, pink and orange, green, copper

I particularly love sweets themed -( any kind of candy or cake etc) butterfly print. No lace please i have tons, vintage is fine. I realize some of my requests are rather specific but it is just in case you have them! If not dont worry about it!!!

I would love some ribbon with a print - have tons of plain - favorite colours are pink, purple and green - Southwest or geckos would be great - but anything will work for my crafts

Got my ribbon from CINDYAC during the postal dispute - we live in the same city and I had to go to her house for a meeting tonight. Great choices of ribbon Cindy - thanks
