Description: | |
Around 25 years ago I was part of a mail art gallery show. Since then I have a habit of hand decorating my envelopes with drawings and little paintings. I thought for this swap we might have fun hand painting or drawing on an envelope images that relate to a Goddess inside in the envelope. When you decorate your envelope for this swap you can use some stickers or stamps but the envelop should be hand decorated with 80% or more drawing or painting. You can use any materials ( ink, watercolor, marker, pencil, ect…) You can purchase a blank envelop to decorate or make your own. The envelope can be any size that will go through the mail and will hold your Goddess and note. An example on how to do this would be to decorate an envelope with cats, the moon and Egyptian symbols with a Baset/Bast charm within. You do have to hand decorate the outside of the envelope by but the Goddess within can be purchased, found, or made by you. Make the Goddess within nice and not just a photo coped image. This should be something you would be happy to receive but does not have to be expensive. Please, put a short note within with the swap information and the name of your Goddess. The envelope can be any size but must be able to go through the mail and not mailed inside another envelope. This should be a swap that can be inexpensive and fun for anyone who likes to paint or draw. Requirements: 1) Hand decorated envelope any size that is 80% hand drawn or painted that can be mailed. 2) One Goddess inside the envelope that relates to the images on the envelope (the Goddess can be purchased or hand made but should not be just a photo copy) Examples are a Goddess shrink charm, a Goddess shaped bar of soap, a Goddess bookmark, small Goddess doll, a Goddess pocket sculptor or painting. These are only examples of what you might send. You are truly only limited by your creativity. 3) A small note with the name of the Goddess, your name and the swap information. 4) Must be in good standing in the group with no resent 1’s or 3’s. |
