Sometimes I swear I’m an introvert. I never do anything out of the normal realm of my day. I want that to change so I thought up this swap to get my ass off the couch. For the months of July and August, make time to do 30 different things that you wouldn’t normally do and put it in zine form. Make a quarter-size (A6) zine and use one page to tell what you did that day. Do something different 30 times in 2 months. You can write, type, paint, whatever you want. Just let us know what you did! It can be ANYTHING. From being as simple as painting your nails neon green…to something as complex as jumping out of a perfectly good airplane :-) You have 2 months from the time partners are assigned to the send date to do 30 days of something new and different. By all means, if you want to start now, go for it! You just need 30 completed pages in your zine when all is said and done. How you design your pages is totally up to you!! Assembling the zine: For those new to zine assembling, @TangleCrafts gave a couple great explanations when I participated in one she hosted a while back. Here’s some of the points she explained: To make a 'standard' quarter-size zine, you would fold a letter-size page in half then fold the half-pages in half to make a greeting card size fold of paper. You would then slot all those folds of paper together and bind down the spine to make a quarter-size booklet/zine. That's only one way of doing it, though, and any way is acceptable so long as the pages don't fall apart when you turn them! If you have questions, let me know by posting below! |
