a skinny card is 3x5 inches in size, think atc but bigger, it should be sturdy and made with care.

!skinnycardinspirations

You will create 1skinny card and send it to 1 partner, this is senders choice and open to to any theme and artistic medium!. I want to get beginners into skinny cards exited about this wonderful art form!

Your cards need to be sturdy, mounted on card stock or other thick backing. Sign, date, and give a title for your work on the back of your card. Also it's also a good idea to put your user name on your card,

I will be checking profiles 100%, any blank profiles will be removed from swap. Any recent 3's in last 2 months will be removed and any recent 1's in last 4 months that are unexplained will be removed YOU NEED TO HAVE A WELL FILLED OUT PROFILE

This however is a newbie friendly swap, but I will still be checking profiles to ban any iffy swappers. Also this swap is for artist just getting into skinny cards, so no negative critiques aloud in ratings

ratings: 5♥ if you love it...........5, if it met swap requirements......3 if swap did not meet requirements..........1 if not received........

You must put time and effort into your skinny art card!, please make something you are proud to share and would want to receive Have fun! Happy Swapping!

I have wanted to try skinny's for awhile! Perfect!

So this is an ATC, but it's 3 X 5, not 2.5 X 3.5? Or it's a card, thats to say 6 X 5, folded in half, with your art work on the front? I really enjoy making greeting cards and want to be sure I understand "skinny cards" Thank you :o]

Pippin 07/ 6/2011 #

I'll second that, LynnViolet. Is it a card, or a small greeting card? I'm guessing like an ATC but bigger...please clarify if this is wrong!

A skinny card is like an ATC only it's 3"x5" :)

ADDozier 07/ 7/2011 #

do you fold a skinny card? I really need to know because I'm a newbie. And when do we get our partners chosen?

ADDozier 07/ 7/2011 #

Oh and it says no sticker slapping but can we add a few stickers? I'm a sticker geniuse :)

adk 07/ 8/2011 #

i'm guessing that since it's "like" an ATC except it is 3"x5" then we dont need to fold them, but can someone clarify that for me so that I dont send the wrong thing. I'm definitley new to the skinny cards and just recently started the ATC's.

you can add stickers as accents, collaged in to your design, sticker slapping to me means stricktly stickers put on the card. I like to use alphabet stickers.

a skinny is 3x5 same concept as an atc only bigger. do NOT fold your 3x5 in half. the partners will be assigned July 10th, in the morning or after 11 AM (because I have to go to church)

a swap host does have 7 days to assign partners, but I never wait that long, I did forget one time and was 2 days late.

ADDozier 07/ 9/2011 #

how does the computer know when we sent it? Do we have to press a button or something for the rating purposes? I am knew and so confused! Please clarify!
