Local book suggestion

Choose one of your favourite books written by someone from your country but translated to English and describe it to your partner. Try to pick up something that would get your partner an idea how people from your homeland think or live. Write at least one page.

You should mention: title, writer, genre, plot, why you chose this book and if it has any film adaptations (with English dub or subtitles!). Since this is an electronic swap, you should add some picture of the cover or information which would help your partner get this book. If there is an e-book version for free, send it. Make sure the book (or at least related movie) you chose is widely available, so your partner will be able to get it if interested. Let's say that means it is on Europian version of Amazon or something like that.

You will have 5 partners, but you can send the same book. Each participant is to be from another country, so write in comments where you are from after you join this swap. Czech Republic taken :) It is Europian only, because I can hardly imagine American bookstores having many books from my country on shelves... Minimum rating is 4.7, no unexplained 1s or 3s, newbies welcome. I can angel if needed and if there are any questions, just ask :)
