I love penguins and thought it would be fun to have a postcard swap with a penguin theme so here it is!

Send a postcard with a penguin (or penguins) on it to 5 partners. Postcards can be handmade, storebought, or altered as long as there is a penguin on it.

CLYDEESMOM 12/06/2007 WHERE WOULD ONE FIND PENGUIN POSTCARDS? I CAN'T EVEN FIND REGULAR POSTCARDS FROM MY STATE. THEY TOLD ME PEOPLE WEREN'T BUYING THEM SO THEY DON'T CARRY THEM EVEN IN DRUGSTORES AND PLACES LIKE WALMART. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE TO FIND THEM. THANKS

Clydeesmom, you can look for postcard books at online bookstores like amazon.com. The online store promegranate.com also has nice postcardbooks, some even on sale for half price - if they still have the "Animals from the Ends of the Earth" that one includes some penguin postcards.

You could also print penguin photos or clipart from the net and glue them to cardstock.

Swan and Terry those are all great ideas...Also fabric with penguins, drawing/painting, and cutting from things like wrapping paper to make postcards. Mine will be homemade, but I haven't decided on what media I will use...
