Description: | |
This swap is inspired by Morgan le Fay, a powerful sorceress of the dark arts from Arthurian legend. You will create 1 somewhat elaborate and unique necklace for 1 partner. The necklace must be something you can imagine Morgan le Fay wearing whilst weaving her dark magick. Jewellery from that period looked quite substantial. May be use large glass or stone cabochons for the pendant with unusual brass stampings, chunky chains, a combination of beads and chain, different style chains, layers of chains, or string a mixture of different glass, stone, or shell beads? I'm sure you can think of other ways that look good. What I'm trying to say is DO NOT just hang a pendant on a ball chain or thong. This swap is for something elaborate and magickal that a renowned sorceress of royal heritage would wear. Please spend time and effort creating a necklace your partner will love. You do not need to use expensive supplies but make it special. DO NOT use wooden or plastic beads. Please check you partners profile for preferred necklace length and any dislikes. We all want our partners to love the jewellery we create for them. There is no point in creating something they cannot or will not wear. Watch the tv series ''Camelot'', ''Merlin'' or the film ''Merlin'' for amazing visual references to Arthurian costuming and jewellery. You can easily google information on Morgan Le Fay/ Morgan Pendragon/ Morgana Pendragon to see lots of images relating to the subject to give you ideas. Also search for ''Morgan le Fay necklace'' and ''sorceress necklace'' on flickr and etsy.com for handmade inspiration. I will check profiles before assigning partners although as this is a group swap there should be no need to worry. Please respect your partner and do not flake. Any questions please feel free to ask. |
