Description:

This is swap requires that you incorporate a vintage photo into your design. Vintage, in my opinion, should be early 70's or older. Beyond that, color and other decisions are senders choice!

The photo MUST BE a real photo, and not an inkjet copy.

For this swap you will make ONE altered rolo card for ONE partner which includes a vintage photo.

You are required to design the front side and to lightly decorate the backside. If you do both, you deserve a heart because you have literally made two cards!

Please TRANSFORM the photograph into a new work of art by juxtaposing other elements with the photo to create new meaning. This is not a scrapbooking exercise!

Do your very best work (something you are proud to send out and would be happy to receive)

Cards may include stickers, but may not use stickers as your main element. They should enhance the piece, not create the piece.

Cards must be sturdy (bare minimum: glue together two rolo cards)

no recent or multiple 1's or 3's

If you flake on any of my swaps you will not be allowed in any subsequent swaps I host.

No profanity or nudity, unless your partner is not easily offended.

This swap has a 2 week turn around time so do NOT sign up if you cannot mail by deadline. As always if you have any questions feel free to ask!!

Signing up for the swap means that you agree to the rules of the swap.

LOVE all the new swaps! Very original! Fingers crossed I make all of them!

@misscorbeau I hope you will join! I will be disappointed if there isn't much turnout! I am new to hosting swaps, and I hope my ideas aren't too weird or whatever.

i don't have any real ones to sacrifice - i had planned on copying one of my family pics on my printer.. perhaps next time :-)

@cajunhillbilly I have bought some at antique stores and antique malls. Occasionally I find one in a book I buy. Keep your eyeballs open for them, as I will probably do a similar swap in the future.
