Ok! Continuing the popular Fabric and Fiber ATCs. I think I'll make this a monthly swap. Lots of valentines swaps going on, so let's do something different for February. Pick from one of the following February holidays, and make a fabric ATC based on your interpretation of that holiday:
DETAILS: This swap is for 1 ATC to 2 partner. The base of the ATCs MUST be fabric. So this will be a challenge for many people who are used to doing paper ATCs. You can back the fabric with card stock to give it some firmness, but the surface of the ATC must be fabric. Starting with your fabric base, you can embellish with beads, embroidery, charms, etc. Quilting, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, crazy quilting, fabric painting - anything that uses fabric and fibers is okay. But, it must be the standard ATC size of 2.5" X 3.5" and flat enough to fit in an ATC sleeve or page. Don't worry if you've never tried this before, just do the best work you can. PM me if you want some tips on how I create my ATCs. Newbies are okay, but please PM me first. My definition of a newbie: Less than 5 rated, non-email swaps. If you don't have at least 5 rated, non-email swaps, pm me before signing up, or I'll have to ban you. If you pm me, I will review your profile, ratings, etc., before letting you join. Newbies interested in getting some ratings under their belt, please also see this thread. I'm not going to set a rating minimum for this swap, but I reserve the right to ban anyone who looks suspicious. This is an International swap. |
