About Me

I'm a stay at home mom of 2 great kids. I volunteer in the kids classes and with a local nonprofit organization weekly. I've been married 11 years to a wonderful man I met when I was 18. We also have 2 dogs-a Black Lab (who is 6) he thinks he's a puppy still-and a Bugg ( who is 2) she is neurotic and so much fun.

Favorite Music

I listen to all kinds of music. Some of my favorits include: The Beatles, Bob Marley, Pink, Tim McGraw, Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

Favorite Books

My all time favorite book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.
I read all the time; I read everything

Favorite Movies

Blue Hawaii, Grease, Sixteen Candles, Forrest Gump, Breakfast a Tiffany's, Funny Face, Yours Mine and Ours (the original), Operation Petticoat, White Christmas

Favorite Television

I don't really have favorites as far as television-I watch Animal Planet, HGTV, The Travel Channel, TLC. I am a huge hockey fan-we follow NHL and WHL.

Comment: Hi Marie, Thanks for the great recipe. Sounds easy and delicious -- plus I love rhubarb, so this is a must-try. By the way, my birthday is October 10, too, but I'm a bit older than you -- a way bit older!
