I am a busy mother of 4 boys. I love "stealing" time to be creative and hope to have a website soon. I am excited to meet new artists and learn from you all!

I enjoy mixed media. I love working with different papers, paint and fabrics. My favorite "style" is vintage and tattered. There is something about 'grunge' that just draws me in. I like to add "bling" in my grunge also. As soon as I figure out how to add photos of some of the things I've created I will.

I couldn't imaging life without music. I listen to ALL kinds. I like dance music when I clean my house, bands like Florence and The Machine or Hunger Games soundtrack when I paint and even some Jude Law when I'm driving.

I know it's kind of juvinile for a grown woman and mother of 4 to like the supernatural books but those are my favorite. I think Mercy Thompson and Kim Harrison are my favorite authors.

I love watching movies on my ipad while relaxing in the tub. I like a comedy every now and then, even a chick flick but BY FAR my favorite are action packed thriller movies!

I don't really watch a lot of tv but some shows that are on my DVR are "Supernatural" (duh), "Modern Family", So You Think You Can Dance", "True Blood" and "House".

I love anything that looks old or decayed or torn or vintage. I like the style "shabby chic" or "flea market" or "upcycling". I love finding new uses for old things. I like ATC's with dimension to them. I also like drawings of girls, goddesses or fairies. I like to paint with acrylics and draw with pencils. I also love collage! My favorite colors are green, white and red. I am also drawn to robin egg blue. I love pictures of birds, nests, sticks LOL! I also am finding that I like "steampunk". I like mixing soft and hard things like lace and metal together. I pretty much like anything mixed media really! I also LOVE seeing what other artists out there can create! I am open to any type of art as long as you put your heart into it!

I like things that look old or worn. I love stamps, old metal, clock parts, beads, glass, wood etc. I am in love with Tim Holtz style things. I love little tidbits that you could put in a configuration box. Little bottles, dirty ink colors, vintage lace or fabric. I also love girly sparkly thingys! I love little fairys with wings, angels (but not the precious moments kind), crystals, pearls, sequins and gems.

I didnt want to put a "dislike" section in my profile because I am open to everyones art and want to see what other artists are capable of however there are just a few things that don't make me so happy in my mailbox. I'm not a big fan of Disney, Precious Moments, or cartoons in general. I also could live without cute zoo animals, superheroes and child-like characters.
