I'm a dog groomer and trainer enjoying my recent move near the mountains. I have two poodles, a whippet, a cat and fiance. I'm a bit a new to penpals and swaps so I'm excited to get started and learn things about new people! I love things with bright colors and bold prints, all things floral/nature related. I collect rocks and shells from my favorite places and am a craft hoarder. I'm also a professional dog groomer and currently learning to play bagpipes in my local pipe band.

For postcards please don't send them in an envelope unless you're worried they'll get very damaged.

The Office, Parks and Rec, Psych, The IT Crowd, Whitest Kids U Know, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Doctor Who, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, old school Nickelodeon shows, numerous others. I like to binge watch shows. I think I've seen every episode of The Office at least 5 times. Except for Scott's Tots, which makes me so uncomfortable I've never finished it.

The Decemberists, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Flogging Molly, Death Cab for Cutie, Linkin Park, Incubus, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Daft Punk, Silversun Pickups, MGMT, Foo Fighters, The Shins, Dave Matthews Band, most 90s alternative, anything with violin or cello, musicals. I love new recommendations! I listen to music all day at work and am always up to try new stuff.

I dabble in a bit of everything, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, quilting, sewing collars for my dogs, sewing little bags and such, creative journaling, I'm working on my handwriting, I'm going to try and start painting soon and see how that goes. I love trying new things so if you have a hobby you're passionate about, please let me know!

Anything by Mercedes Lackey, Spider Robinson, Douglas Adams, Stephen King, Robert Asprin, Peter S Beagle, Laurel K Hamilton... I love sci-fi/fantasy and humor, I also have a soft spot for terrible romance novels(Sandra Hill and her Vikings, yes.)

There isn't much that I dislike, I love learning about other people and seeing what make them happy. Raw tomatoes are gross, but I don't think there's a risk of someone sending me those :D I'm not religious but I'm not against religion, if you'd like to share your beliefs then I'll listen!

• herbs and flowers, Rosemary is my most favorite plant, tulips are probably my favorite flower but I love them all. I also have some moss terrariums

• dogs and cats! Crazy dog lady, and I have a cat that acts like a dog

• mythical creatures - unicorns, dragons, Nessie, all of them.

• crafty bits, threads, yarn, fabrics, stickers

• food! I love all food. All of it. Even tomatoes have a time and place. I enjoy baking and bringing sweets to my coworkers.
