Hi! I'm a mom with 3 adult daughters and 1 granddaughter.
I like to be outside whenever I can. My interests include walking/hiking, container gardening and astronomy.
My musical interests vary widely, everything from folk music (John Renbourne & medieval) to rock (Jimmy Buffett, Train) to classical (Bach and Pachibel). I prefer uplifting music.
My favorite television series was "Lost" and I'm currently rewatching the "Eli Stone" series.
My favorite movies include Waking Ned Devine, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, It's a Wonderful Life, The Terminal, Cast Away (with Tom Hanks), The Wizard of Oz, & AI. I don't watch horror/violent movies.
My favorite crafts include paper crafts (origami/kirigami), drawing & watercolors. I like to try new crafts.
I love to read. I'm currently reading Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I also like craft and art books and magazines.
My favorite foods are sweets (chocolates included) and black tea (sometimes with sugar and sometimes without).
I am drawn to earthy colors (browns and greens), but I also like the various colors of sea glass.
I like cats, birds, and rabbits (but not together!).
Other likes include: bookmarks, fortune cookie fortunes, birdcages, filigree, finials, architectural details, vintage reproductions, victoriana, archeology, celtic knots, orchids, violets/pansies, lily of the nile, ferns, textures, miniatures, globes, temari, the aroma of coffee (but not the flavor), Emily Dickinson, alpana designs, origami papers, anything related to Alice in Wonderland (illustrations, book pages, quotes...), and travel.

Here is the link for the origami tulip. When you go to that site, there is a link for the stem. They were so much fun to do! I also got the monkey from there but it was a little sad looking... :)))
