So far, so good. I am well into my first semester in the clinical portion of a 4-year degree in nursing. Well, it is actually a major in science with a minor in nursing.....so weird, but that is how the school does it. It has been going pretty good, but it is tough and A LOT of work. I cherish my time off and have trouble working ahead so right now, I just try to make it to the next day. I have been in the hospital which was very exciting. My first patient was an 88-year old woman with whom I will never forget my encounter. After that experience, I feel that I am on the right track and that is nursing is the career for me.
Hey! My name is Alicia and I am a 21 year-old nursing student from the United States. I am in my third year of the school which for nursing means clinicals. I currently live with my Fiance Chuck and my two little dogs named Jacques and Pierre. We have been together for almost four years and he just proposed to me this past Valentine's Day and got me a beautiful five-stone Leo Diamond Engagement ring. We do not plan on getting married any time soon because I want to wait until I am finished with school and able to plan the wedding of my dreams. Other than going to school full-time and working at a bank and an assisted living facility, I enjoy various activities that spark imagination and allow my creative side to show. I find that I am a very easy going and caring person. I prefer to keep an open mind and am never quick to judge. I truly enjoy life and believe in living it to the fullest and making the most of everyday. I love to try new things and find that I am a very energetic and charismatic person. I support many different causes and believe that I am making a difference little by little with each of my contributions. I love helping others as well as doing things to make them happy.

But at least you have a little feeling of what I like!
As for dislikes....Well...There aren't many things that I don't like because often I do acquire an appreciation for them and I do always like to keep an open mind. However, I would prefer to not receive APCs or ATCs; I appreciate the art and everything, but personally, I would have no use for them and no where to put them, so I would rather not receive them. When it comes to allergies...I am allergic to heavily scented lotions and skin products and metals, therefore, no handmade or cheap jewelery for me-unfortunately!...
