What better way to pass on the love of your craft by putting a fabulous sophisticated kit together for your next swap? If interested and have a well-filled out profile with at least a 4.9 rating and lots of proven swaps under your belt then request membership into the @Sophistikits group.
This will be a slow growing group but a fun one!
I'm just a girl experiencing life as it comes . . trying to be a great wife, mother, sister, neighbor, friend, and child of God. I'm also hoping to sneak in a few moments here and there to scrapbook these precious moments I'm striving to create.
Scrapbooking:
I love to make cards, layouts and home decor projects. Anything that has to do with paper and glue and I'm one happy puppy. I love shabby chic styles. I'm more drawn to pastels and monochromatic but I've been known to whip out the bright colors from time to time as well. I enjoy altered art, collage, and mixed media too. Any new techniques to learn . . I'm all over it!
Some of my favorite products to use are:
Prima flowers, stickles, bling, bling and more bling. Glitter, Stazon inks, Colorbox cat's eye chalk pads, rub-ons, flourishes and ribbons. I love acetate for cards and making embellishments and grunge paper. Would love to get some of that in a package.
I'm in love with my Cuttlebug machine so anything you happen to find to use in it would be the bomb!!
My favorite paper is Bazzill or any other textured. You can never go wrong with chipboard either. It is my downfall.
Jewelry Making:
One of my dear friends has been teaching me how to make jewelry. I'm addicted yes I am. Tutorials, project ideas would be great for this newbie!
Even though I'm new to the hobby, I have a few things I know I like. Anything sterling silver as I'm allergic to the other findings especially if they have knickel in them. Hypoallergenic or knickel free would be the way to go for me.
Supplies I would love are findings in sterling silver (I am allergic to knickle), Swarovski of any kind, fancy bead caps and spacers, etc. I love pretty beads! I don't need natural stones or dark color beads right now. Would love to receive some larger style beads to use in making dangling bead charms.
Sewing:
Love to sew. Always have. Home decor projects are my favorite thing to make. The softer and prettier the pattern the better!! I love paisley prints, jaquard, no country patterns please or child-like patterns.
My favorite colors are definitely pastels. Soft colors in any shade. I'm shabby chic right now all the way. I love paisleys, jacquard, flourishes, soft prints, polka dots if they are soft.
Now with that said, I've also been drawn to brighter colors especially with a really cool pattern on them. Just not the cartoonish styles.
Right now I'm really into protein snacks and healthy food. If you can find really good sugar free candy or healthy snack ideas I would be so grateful!
I also love Jalepenos peppers and Nutella! Not together though. ha! Ewww that sounds so gross.
I love little mini matchboxes and broken pieces of jewelry.
Here are a few dislikes I can think of right off the bat:
