I'm currently living in Tokyo to fulfil my dream from when I was 16. Which basically means I will be here until march 2011 for japanese- and fashionstudies. I love recieving letters and packages, as well as writing and packing. And as an outsider in Japan there's no end to the stuff I want to send to people!
My sister introduced me to swap-bot, and I love the idea. I'm especially interested in the food section, as I have constant cravings for stuff that can't be bought in Japan (stupid, I know ;P) And I'm always eager to find new flavours I can add to my list of favourites. My list of allergies is as follows: Nuts, strawberries, oranges, rice-vinegar, shellfish (as if anyone would send anything containing shellfish anyway) and. Well. That's it I think. But worry not, me friend! I wont die of my allergies, so chocolate with traces of nuts and such can be sent to me without any problem =) I only get affected if I eat a visible quantity so to say. (And I have a fondness for artificially strawberryflavoured icecream XD)
I've tried really hard to come up with dislikes, but can't really think of anything. Although I do prefer white or dark chocolate over milk. I also enjoy strange flavours, and in Japan I eat anything with macha (green tea) or adzuki (red beans), so strange flavours from other countries are more than welcome ^^ And for potential candyswappers, I don't consider gum as candy ;)
For tea I drink anything but black tea. Green, white, red, oolong. I simply love tea and I think I might be addicted o_O; XD
I also like stationary stuff and I am in my own way a collector of notebooks with 7mm lines.
Also I collect anything with mushrooms on it, and I mean Anything!
I'm also interested in plain letter swapping. Assignments for what to write and such. I'm not much for postcards or e-mails. I'm an old-fashioned snail-mailer ^^
I hope I can get this swap-thing going sooner than later, and I hope I will get good relations and experiences out of this as well as strange tasty food ^^
Happy swapping! /Ingela
Asian horror!
When clubbing: Psy-trance or dark-trance. Industrial, electronic. Anything heavy with a dancable beat.
When at home: Something with a lyric, so I can sing along when no-ones listening ^^
