Married man, with four children, working as financial director for a large garment manufacturer.
I enjoy fountain pens and handwriting, watercolors, correspondence and swaps. Also like to read a lot, play chess, listen to music, watch a good film.
I speak Spanish, English and Esperanto, some French and a little bit of German. I enjoy languages, too, sometimes I use TuneIn or similar apps to listen to stations from other countries, for the language.
Years ago, before e-mail became so prevalent, I used to exchange postcards, banknotes, a few other items with some penpals, but then all of the penpals I had decided they liked e-mail better... I personally think e-mail is great, but not for this purpose. I long to receive the handwritten musings of friends, it gives their thoughts a personal touch, a certain intimacy and trust that cannot be fully conveyed in an e-mail. Sketches, small watercolor paintings, even just a 3x5 index card with a thought written on it...
I hope I will find many friends here who enjoy this form of communication.
Greeting to all, from the middle of The Americas, Honduras.
