Hello everyone:) I am a 23 year old graduate student from Japan. I was born and raised in Japan but also lived in the US during my childhood so I am bilingual in Japanese and English.
I live in Fukushima prefecture which is in the Tohoku region. My family lives in Tochigi prefecture which is closer to Tokyo. I live here by myself to attend college. I got my BS at the same university I am currently in so this is my 5th year in Fukushima!
!!!! About the Postal Service !!!! We have a lot of snow from mid December through early March and mails I send out or receiving are processed slow at this time of the season. Other than that, all my mails go out of Japan within a week and mails that comes in Japan get to my place within 3~4 days. If you are not receiving my mail or I'm not rating yours, please contact me:)
I am a newbie snail mailer and a postcrosser. I discovered snail mail and postcrossing in the end of 2017. Since then I've made a lot of great friends and met new people through postcard exchange and of course swapping here. I enjoy reading/writing long letters so feel free to write as much as you want!
Receiving reccomendation for books and other things listed above is welcome:)
In Japan, it is common to drink tea every day. So I prefer low-caffeine tea, but I like to drink normal tea as well on occasions. In general, I like teas with a strong scent and dark color.
I can send regional postcard called Gotouchi Postcard. I have normal sized postcards with a photo of famous places in Japan too:)
I don't have any allergies so feel free to send me anything:)
I can send normal chocolate, gummies, gums, chips, and candies that can be bought anywhere in Japan. And also something special from where I live.
