I am an Art teacher that lives in the British countryside. I love anything to do with Art and Craft especially typography and graphics. I have taught in multiple countries including Singapore and Uganda and I love to surround myself with inspiring cultures and environments. I love finding things that others may throw away such as used envelopes and post it notes. I consider these evidence of life and love to interpret the owner or user of the items.
There is an Art project in most everyday objects.
My interests are reading, walking and going to the cinema. I absolutely adore Christmas and go all out by designing my own Christmas cards and wrapping paper. My hobbies are linked to my career and involve drawing and painting. I trained as a graphic designer and I specialise in printmaking. I love Lino printing and stencilling. I try to draw everyday so that reminds me to look around myself and see things that interest me. I find being a teacher is very rewarding and I love going to work every day. The creativity of children is amazing and inspiring.
I love:
Matchboxes. If you are swapping with me and have the chance to include a matchbox It would make me very happy. I would love to collect matchboxes from different countries even if you think they look boring I would adore them.
Printed materials from other countries including used envelopes, matchboxes notes and product design.
I love birds. I love bird artwork, drawings, prints and sculptures. Anything with birds on would be fantastic.
Doodles on post it notes. Patterns, drawings etc... In pen possibly that people don't realise that they are drawing.
I love Chocolate and chocolate related products especially white chocolate. White chocolate with peanut butter is my idea of heaven. There are not many peanut butter related products in the UK.
Any material that can be used in collage would also be welcome. Handprinted wrapping paper would be fantastic.
I would like to collect small cultural items such as coins, charms and interesting objects. I have an old printmakers type setting tray that I fill with objects that I find pleasing. To fit the small windows objects need to be 4 cm x 3 cm. I would love to get interesting or antique bits and bobs to add to my printing tray.
Relating to reading to would like book plates, interesting pages and old maps.

This is one of the requirements of International Small Swaps group, as stated on the home page. Once you've filled out your profile, I will definitely consider your application to the group :)
