Hello there! I'm Erika, I'm a 19 year-old freshman in college and I love anything mail! My grandmother always sends us hand made cards for birthdays and holidays so I decided to share mail with the world. I am cometnatia on postcrossing, and I've done tags on their official forums, but not swaps. While I can't do the big swaps (large items that require boxes), I can swap postcards or anything I can stuff in an envelope!

I love to act and draw with a passion. One day I hope to be a professional actress or conceptual artist for video games. I also have "becoming a tattoo artist" on my bucket list! My favorite plays are Cloud 9, most Shakespeare, and Prometheus Bound. My favorite video games are Oblivion, Super Paper Mario, original Pokemon Red, and Tetris. I sketch in pen or pencil, and paint in watercolors or acrylics.

I have a really eclectic taste in music. Right now on my massive playlist I have Devin Townsend (Addicted!, various albums), Nine Inch Nails (Things Falling Apart, Ghosts, Downward Spiral), Lady Gaga, The Killers, Panic! at the Disco, Kings of Leon, Owl City, Regina Spektor, Rilo Kiley, Jeremy Soule (Oblivion soundtrack).

I really enjoy reading nearly everything! I especially love Johnny Got His Gun, The Bell Jar, The Life of Pi, Black Beauty, The Infernal City, the Harry Potter series, Drawing Blood, Lost Souls (basically anything Poppy Z. Brite), The Road. I also love some manga like Nana and Paradise Kiss by Ai Yazawa.

Movies are probably an essential part of my being! Here is an abbreviated list of my favorite movies: Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Lord of the Rings trilogy, 500 Days of Summer, Avatar, Where The Wild Things Are, Russian Ark, NANA, and Patch Adams.

I don't watch as much TV, but there are a few shows that I adore. These are: The Office, 30Rock, South Park, Family Guy, anything Conan O'Brien, older SNL episodes, Tokyo Dogs, iCarly, and Nip/Tuck. I have odd tastes... I do not like Glee! at all.

Likes: Theatre/plays/related items such as playbills, art (hyper-realism, renaissance styles, every movement but modernism), puzzles, video games, classic pinups, silver jewelry, knee socks, kawaii letter-sets, san-x characters monokuroo boo and mamegoma, stickers, sloths, tigers, Grrek/Roman gods and goddesses, fuity candy, ribbons, and mythical creatures, but my favorite would be a phoenix. I also enjoy tasteful inappropriate things, like dirty words in context! Heehee!

Dislikes: Glee!, Twilight, disney princesses (other than Ariel, whom I love), hot pink, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, grape juice, football, basketball, soaps/toiletries (I'm allergic to some, esp. rose floral scents).
