I am a soon-to-be 35 y.o. chicky livin in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I live all by myself and like it that way.
I try to work in my art journal every day. I like to paint. Recently I have been making art dolls and learning to belly dance.
I sometimes teach art classes at a local gallery and I peddle lotion and perfume at Bath & Body Works to pay the rent.
I don't have a car, so I walk or take the bus or ride my baby blue cruiser. I am always picking up things that I see: feathers, scribbled notes, bottle caps, etc. I like to use the things I find in my journals and other art work.
People are always telling me I should write a book about my life.
I've traveled all over the U.S., homeschooled my son, owned my own art gallery, sang for a punk rock band, wrote a regular column for an anarchist newspaper, I have 15 tattoos (and want more) and well, what else would you like to know?
Things that I collect: mannequins, ceramic hands, keys, art of all kinds, anything with cupcakes on it.
Colors: All shades of pink, teal blue, brown, deep red.
Scents: Vanilla, amber, coconut, sandalwood.
Artists: Mark Ryden, Glen Barr, Sylvia Jai, Frida Kahlo, Camille Rose Garcia.
Around the house: Teacups, candles, gilded picture frames, incense and oils.
Bands/musicians: David Bowie, The White Stripes, Tom Waits.
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Velvet Goldmine, The Royal Tenebaums.
Books and authors: Cruddy by Lynda Barry, Lisa Carver, Bukowski, Anais Nin, J.D. Salinger, The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers.
Edibles: I love gourmet chocolates and coffee. I like milk chocolate and dark roast coffee the best.
I collect and use all kinds of ephemera. I am particularly fond of fortunes of all kinds, foreign text, wallpaper samples, antomical diagrams, and interesting clippings from text books and old children's books.
Anything that I can use for my art dolls would be greatly appreciated! Stuff like: Brads, interesting bits of string and yarn, small charms of all kinds, beads, sequins, ribbon, lace, scraps of pretty fabric, and so on.
I love anything to do with the Day of the Dead, Gypsies and sideshow freaks, especially tattooed ladies.
I would love to find a couple of dedicated pen pals on here to trade letters and packages with regularly. P.M. me if interested.

You flaked on the swap: Pot Luck - Newbie friendly
Hullo! I haven't rated you yet because I haven't received the package (Paper Scrap Swap) yet! It can take a while to get to Korea from the US, so I'm not giving up yet. Can you let me know when you mailed it out? The last time a number all came in at once - some had taken seven weeks!
Hi - what an interesting person you seem to be! Welcome to Swap-bot. I am your partner in the Pot Luck swap and will enjoy making up a fun parcel based on your profile. I am also interested in being your penpal if you want to write to a 60 year old great grandma with similar interests to you?
