Hi everyone... I am a Fabric and Notion Horder...if it is new...I must have...GRIN.
I am a SAHM and have less time now to do things then I did when I worked with kids. But I love staying home with the kids even though its the toughest and most stressful job I have ever had....and I have had a lot of stressful jobs in my life time.
Right now I am into Import fabrics such as Cosmo, Kokka, etc.... I am also loving Robert Kaufmann's Essex Linen blend fabric. I am slowly buying the entire line...one bolt at a time.
In my very limited spare time I am a pinner...what is a pinner you may ask... I am addicted to Pintrest as much as I am and if not more to Fabric and Notions. I have it connected to my Facebook and my twitter accounts.....Lately I have been receiving awesome response to the tut's and pin's that have been posted.
The true love of my life are my kids....My husband J-man is my biggest kid....then comes boy #1 (5 yrs old), boy #2 (4 yrs old) & Girl (3 yrs old)....and yes you did see that I have a 5,4,3 yr old....so for those 3 years I was pregnant....people around me in the city are surprised to not see my pregnant....GRIN.
In my free time I do pintrest, surf for online tutorials, run after my kids, help my kids learn so that they will be ahead of the class when they start school.
I met my hubby via MATCH.COM almost 10 years ago and I haven't looked back and I seriously don't remember ever saying yes when he asked.....at first it was a joke but we now can't remember so I claim I never said yes.....LOL
My current ISO's:
*Any Melody Miller *Any Japanese Canvas/Linen fabric with bright colors *Curved Safety Pins (we can't get them locally for some reason) *Pink fabrics in all shades *Kokka - Trefle (spelling) collection *Cloud 9 fabrics (ALL lol -- even if I have it I still want more!) *Tutorials for Snap Press *Inspirational Pictures of Mug Rugs, Small Quilts and ideas for organization. *Japanese mini-toys - Things I can have on my sewing table or sitting on the window...Kawaii themed items. *Any fabric that has a newspaper, ad, feedsack picture theme.....
My goals are to find idea's and new crafts to try that I can do in a couple of days.....since having such young children....its hard to set time aside for large projects.....I love mug rugs and pot holders and pouches...
Thanks for taking the time to read my Bio...
My favorite music....80's Top 40 def. I so remember the 80's music before it went heavy metal and rap...nothing wrong with that but I so miss the days of the glam 80's.....
I also like about 75% of the music on the radio with the Top 40's....I am open to most types of music as long the lyrics are decent to listen to and don't make me blush....
I like very little country....but I can listen to the rock-country blend of music....
I love all free online tutorials....seriously...I am addicted...I do more surfing for them then actual sewing or embroidery....its a very bad bad addiction....so I warn you.
When I do craft I love to do Machine Embroidery, make baby bibs and blankets, Mug Rugs, placemats and etc....
I currently DVR all my shows. Most of them are not appropriate for my kids because of the themes they are currently not family friendly.
I watch:
CSI Criminal Minds Mentalist Charmed (re-runs) SyFy mini-series
will add more later...

Current Disliked colors for fabrics are:
Fabrics I do not like:
Don't like:
I do not like hats because I have a lot of hair and a big noggin....but I am love with hair accessories...love'em....especially ones that are pink...no idea why...
I am a huge chocolate fan but sadly I am dieting to get rid of my pregnancy fat...still . . .Lol
We don't allow anything with nuts in the home because of my oldest has food allergies.
Fabrics from chain stores like JoAnn's and Hancock's. They do have some soft and nice ones but majority of it is poorly made and I have had bad experiences with sewing with them.
stuff that smell like smoke or animals. I have asthma.
Holiday themed things..... I love holidays and have a lot of holiday items but I don't like having to take things in and out for each holiday and prefer things that I can hang up or display year round..
I so dislike silk items...seriously...do not like the stuff to wear or touch or work with.
Hate wearing make-up.....have tried everyone out there on the market and ones you have to buy through sales people....hate it all....my face gets so dry or extremely irritated when I wear it....so I wear it very little.
US Mail man...seriously I have to get signature required or insurance when I buy things because ours throws the packages and never has any respect for our mail.
Barny related anything....even the colors drive nutz.
Spongebob....I will throw everything related out the window no matter what.
Toys that require batteries because my kids can't keep their hands off of batteries....
Rough Fabric
Perfume or potpourri stuff...seriously...when I am near shops that have it .... I have to leave or I get extremely sick.
