Beth took a break from Swap-Bot for a few months to center herself after juggling wedding planning, graduate school and working three jobs. It also became very frustrating when she mailed out her swaps and received no feedback or ratings afterward. Remember, kids, please rate to ensure the vein on Beth's head won't burst from frustration.

The Cincinnati-native loves football, running, sewing, punk rock, writing and photography. She likes to collect craft books, craft supplies and tennis shoes. Recently, her and her husband have taken up swing dancing and love every second of it.

Beth grew up listening to mostly classical music but during her college years, she experimented with the sounds of punk and ska. Now, Beth is addicted to the rough lyrics of Rancid and the fantastic instrumentation that makes up Streetlight Manifesto.

When you get to know her a little better, ask her about her experiences at concerts and she proudly shows off that her first concert was Ricky Martin.

This journalist also has a soft spot for swing music and loves dancing to it.

Her guilty musical pleasures include Heart, Lady Gaga, Aerosmith, Three Dog Night, The Animals, Creedance Clearwater Revival and Bachman Turner Overdrive.

Because cable television costs so much extra money, Beth hasn't had cable for almost two years. She does, however, own the entire collection of "Friends" and watches the DVD's frequently.

When she does have a chance to catch something on the tube, Beth enjoys trashy television from VH1 as well as all three CSI's. Because Beth has started watching CSI religiously on the Internet, she's developing a rather massive crush on Laurence Fishburne. Scratch that. Beth is hopelessly addicted to crime dramas.

Stemming from her addicting to CSI, Beth has come to the realization that she has an addiction to crime drama. The dialogue generally isn't that good and neither is the story lines are usually awful, but for some reason, she can't stop watching them.

Beth also really enjoys watching Sports Center and most televised sporting programs.

Beth is a firm believer that everyone has different likes and dislikes. What she enjoys may be different for someone else; Beth embraces these differences. She urges all of her future partners to please pour their heart and soul into everything they send and make her but please, don't cater to her needs, wants and likes. Beth keeps her mind open and will most likely love anything that arrives in her mailbox, except bills. Odds are, whatever you send her will probably end up taped to her refrigerator.
